Day 1: Tenby
A somewhat moist journey! Packed up and on the road by 9.15. Initially warm and dry and then the rain set in. Windscreen wipers all the way to Swansea. It seems hard to trust the positive forecast however as we venture further west the weather does improve and we reach Tenby as the sun starts to shine through. After a bit of wheel spinning in the mud we level ourselves on our pitch at Meadow Farm on a hill above Tenby. A fellow campervanner tells us we would be better to drive forwards onto our chocks (wheel levellers) and is worried our lovely grey carpets will be dirtied by mud. Picnic by the van then we walk into Tenby. Delightful colourful houses overlooking spectacular beaches with large expanses of sand at low tide. We walk along North Beach and South Beach admiring the skills of the kite surfers, and enjoy views of the harbour and Caldey Island. We share a small tub of fresh cockles: delicious. Back up the hill where Ludwig is waiting. Tea before the crossword with a glass (or two) of wine. M&S tinned curry on the menu for supper!

Nice selfies ! 😉😘
